Day 1 Arrival in San José
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the beautiful Country Inn Suites by Radisson hotel. You will be staying there for one night. Comfortable bed and breakfast. San José is located in the Central Valley of the country. Capital city of Costa Rica, San Jose, is considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. A labyrinth of streets and avenues, in the heart of the city you will find wonderful museums, historic squares, restaurants, colorful markets and great nightlife. You can go see the local lifestyle, visit one of the many markets such as the Mercado Central on Avenida Central.
Day 2 Osa Peninsula, Drake Bay
You will be picked up early from your hotel in San José to take a domestic flight to Drake airport on the Osa Peninsula, upon arrival at Drake airport we will make a short trip of approximately 15 minutes to Drake Bay to take a boat that will take us to the Hotel Copa de Arbol, where we will stay for five nights. Because Copa De Arbol is located in such a remote area of Costa Rica, we are an all-inclusive resort. This allows our guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings while our award-winning staff takes care of everything else. Day 3 Osa Peninsula, Drake Bay
Now that we are installed in the Hotel we have the infinity pool and the Jacuzzi, the perfect point of view for the activity of the capuchin monkeys and the birds. We can enjoy walking the coastal paths every day or take a longer walk to the town of Drake Bay. The hiking trail is always an adventure, trying to keep an eye while listening to the sounds around us and watching birds and monkeys, being lucky enough to see macaws feeding in the almond trees in the area.
Day 4 Drake Bay, Osa
Peninsula Today you can choose any of the following Hotel amenities, which we have to enjoy are Paddle Surfing, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Hiking or simply spend the day relaxing on the beach and enjoying the tranquility of the area. We are very close to the Corcovado National Park which is home to an important population of endangered species, such as tapirs (also known as "dantas"), jaguars and wild boars, as well as 140 species of mammals. The abundance of wildlife can be explained in part by the park's varied vegetation, including montane forest (this type of forest covers more than half of the park), mangrove swamp, floodplain forest, prairie forest, and many others. Altogether, all this density of vegetation contains 500 species of trees. This also means that the park is an ideal place for bird watchers, with several hundred species of birds found here.
Day 5 Drake Bay, Osa
Peninsula Today you will enjoy a guided visit to the Naguala Falls, the tour starts at 8:00 am and returns after lunch at approximately 1:30 pm, the Falls are located near the town of Los Planes in Drake Bay. Take a boat ride to Naguala for a day exploring waterfalls and enjoying amazing food in the middle of the rainforest.
Day 6 Drake Bay, Osa
Peninsula This day is free, but if you want to take advantage of the tours offered in the place you can choose between Corcovado National Park, 105,000 acres on the Osa Peninsula is widely considered the "jewel in the crown" among national parks and biological reserves of Costa Rica. With 13 different types of ecosystems in such close proximity that support an abundant and impressive variety of wildlife, it has been named by National Geographic as "the most biologically intense place on Earth." This Tour has an approximate duration of between 6 and 7 hours, you must reserve it in advance to guarantee availability.
Day 7 City of San Jose
Today we return to San José, we leave the Hotel early to take the return flight in Drake, upon arrival at the airport in San José, we transfer to the Country Inn by Radisson Hotel where we prepare for the return.
