This RMBP features wild and exciting activities that visitors definitely will love. Each destination has been carefully chosen to offer a diverse experience. The program begins in San José, the capital city of Costa Rica, followed by a visit to the Monteverde Cloud Forest and then to two different areas of Guanacaste: the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano area region that provides a lot of adventure and also a great place to relax afterwards. Soaking in the hot springs and mud baths is surely a highlight of this program.
Finally, you will visit the Playa Carrillo area, where you will enjoy a few days before returning to San José.
Day 01 - Arrival in San José
Arriving at the Juan Santamaría International Airport, located 20 km from the city of San José. After customs, immigration and baggage claim procedures, one of our representatives will meet you at the terminal building arrivals gate and transfer you to your hotel.
Travel time approx. 30 minutes.
Spending one night in San José at the Holiday Inn Escazú Hotel (or similar) in a standard room, breakfast included.
Day 02 -From San José to Monteverde
Monteverde is a small community, one of the best places to visit in Costa Rica where you can be in close contact with tropical nature. The region is a natural cloud forest, lush green throughout the year thanks to the low-lying clouds that provide a constant source of water. There are many things to do, especially if you are an outdoors fan. Walk through the woods and keep your eyes ready for unusual species to pop up: exotic birds, monkeys, frogs, and even sometimes the elusive cougar or jaguar.

You will spend 2 nights in Monteverde at Hotel El Establo (or similar) on a bed and breakfast basis in a luxury room.
Travel time approx. 2.5 hours.
Day 3: Tree Top Canopy Tour
Early breakfast at the hotel followed by the incredible cloud forest tour.
Tree Top Canopy Tour has a special design to enjoy the spectacular view of the gulf, as well as the flora and fauna. The tour has high security measures. Our Canopy has 12 cables ranging from 15 meters to 410 meters in length, a 50 meter high tower with a 360 ° panoramic view from where you can fully appreciate the Gulf of Nicoya.

Departure: In the morning or afternoon according to your choice.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Recommended ages: 10-65 years
What to bring: Insect repellent, closed shoes, such as hiking shoes or tennis shoes, raincoat, comfortable attire.
Day 04 - Monteverde to Rincón de la Vieja
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a private transfer to the Rincon de la Vieja volcano area. The day will be free so that you can enjoy the hotel's facilities, such as the relaxing hot springs and mud baths that are part of this incredible offer. You can visit the Salitral Waterfall on the way to the hot springs. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
The night is free.
You will spend 2 nights in Rincón de la Vieja at the Buena Vista Lodge (or similar) on a breakfast basis in a standard room
Driving time approx. 3 hours.
Day 05 - Full day of activities
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to enjoy a full day of natural adventure that includes the following activities: Canopy Tour (Zip Lines), Horseback Riding, Hanging Bridges and Water Slide for the more adventurous. They are ALL INCLUDED; you can choose to do all of them or just some.
A delicious lunch at the hotel restaurant is also included. At the end, we invite you to visit the hot springs and mud baths for a last moment of relaxation. Do you still have free time? Do not forget to visit "La Fonda" from 9AM to 3:30 PM, this small place was created to promote the Guanacaste culture and show its guests the importance of cooking in our homes as well as our traditions and taste some of the local cuisine and a great drip coffee, also included.
Dinner is on your own. Spend night at the hotel.
Day 06 -Rincón de la Vieja to Playa Carrillo
Breakfast at the hotel. After all this incredible ecotourism experience, you deserve a relaxing time on the beach, where the sunsets and the ocean are ready to welcome you.
The afternoon is free.
You will spend 2 nights at Hotel Nammbu (or similar).
Driving time approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Day 07 - Playa Carrillo
The next day will be free so that you can enjoy the hotel facilities, visit the neighboring beaches and take time to relax or book an optional activity.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 - Playa Carrillo back to the city of San José
After breakfast, transfer from the Hotel back to San José to spend the night. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
The night is free.
Driving time approx. 4 hours and 45 minutes.
You will spend one night in San José at the Holiday Inn Escazú (or similar) on a breakfast basis in a standard room.
Day 09 - Depart Costa Rica
Breakfast included at the hotel (if the flight schedule allows it). According to the international airport requirements, all passengers must be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight departure time for security and check-in procedures.
Driving time is approximately 20 minutes.
